I learned a lot from the Visual Merchandising Internship this past Fall semester.  I was able to pursue a more art-based internship and channel my creativity through it.  I loved and appreciated how all of the visual displays were hand-made.  I especially loved the brand/store's motto - "creating the unexpected," which is exactly what the visual team strove for and accomplished project after project.  I truly loved my supervisors, April and Michelle, they are such an inspiration!  I can't wait to work at Anthropologie as a part-time sales associate, thank the lord I was hired as an associate after my internship!  I would love to stay with the company with hopes of working full-time in a retail or corporate setting.  Here are some of the projects I was a part of and helped execute:

Watch out for my future finds while I am working there!  (Love the perks of working at a store such as Anthropologie) I even get a discount at Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Terrain! :)

Ying & I

My mother, the beauty
I know I have been MIA for the past few months, but blame school and my internship for that!  (hehe)  I wanted to create a quick, short post showcasing the two people in my life who inspire and motivate me the most in all that I do!  I'd like to thank my mother and older sister, Ying, for exposing me to fashion at an early age (and now it is my life!) and being great examples, as well as persistently motivating me to do my best in everything I do!  If it weren't for my sister, Ying, I would never have started this blog :)  I love my mother's wonderful, classic style mixed in with Ying's thrifty, boho-chic-esque style.  They are my favorite style gurus!  Stay tuned for more inspirations and findings to come, since now I am on break and have more time to dedicate towards this!

I have always been inspired by fashion, art, home, and even personal blogs!  Blogs are a great outlet to exhibit one's creativity, ideas, beliefs, or thoughts.  So, here I go ... I finally created a blog of my very own!  I've decided to channel my creativity into this blog, and post things that inspire me!  This blog, Eureka by Nikki, will showcase my current obsessions of the day, week, or month, picked especially by me!  I hope you enjoy perusing through my thoughts and findings :)

I love to spice up my outfits
